Mongrel Glass

Jack Albershardt, aka Mongrel, is originally from Charlotte NC.  He moved to Colorado in 2013 and is currently living in Denver Colorado working out of the Shackmansion studio. Mongrel has been blowing glass professionally since 2011.  His hobbies outside of glass include making music, hiking, biking, going to concerts and music festivals, eating delicious meals, sharing small talk and laughs with friends. He also really enjoys the sci-fi and fantasy world of art. “What inspires me the most is working with a material that seems to have an infinite number of ways to transform into something beautiful. I like having the freedom to push myself as far as I can with some work. I am also inspired by all of the friends I have made throughout my journey with glass everyone.
