KZA Glass

KZA Glass is local to the region and we couldn’t resist scooping some of his clean fume work when he first scheduled an appointment with Headies Hideout in 2017.  KZA is originally from South Chicago but now resides in Indianapolis.  He started making soft glass beads in 2002 and graduated to borosilicate vessels in 2004 with over 16 years in the game.  When he is not on the torch he enjoys the outdoors, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and anything that gets him out and away from the day-to-day. KZA glass is one of those artists who can make that gold and silver fume just explode with color while basking in the fresh sunlight.  Expect to see more gems from KZA in the future at Headies! “I’m inspired by natural atmospheres and the feelings they can evoke.” – KZA Glass
