Willstar x Moonboot Multi Color Linework Tube
We have been working with WillStar Glass since we first opened Headies Hideout. Willy and his extended family of glass blowers were some of our first scoops for the shop back in the day. What’s changed? Not a damnnnnnn thing!
We rock the #neverpastbedtimeland studios glass art as hard as we can at Headies Hideout. We love the whole crew, but if you have ever met Willy you will know why he has a special place in our heart. Willy is just such a good soul.
Did you ever go on the phish tour back in the day? Our buddy Willy probably sold you a sick hat pin back then. Probably the only thing Willy is better known for than his glass talents! This guy knows more people than I ever will!
You might as well call him Wonka when you see the color combo’s that Willstar wags up for his signature sherlocks. With two decades in the game, Willy has been a mentor to so many of our talented young artist here in town. If you are a Columbus local and don’t own a piece from Willstar you need to come in and fix that. Be sure to check out all of WillStar’s latest works in his online gallery on our site.
Nate AKA Moonboot is one of my personal favorite artist nationally and he is located right here in central Ohio. Nate works out of the Mansfield area with the Old Country Blew Glass crew and has been on the torch over 20 years going back to 1998. Nate is an all around good guy and country boy to boot. When he is not blowing glass you can find him out in the woods hunting or fishing.
Known for his signature flint knapping work, Nate has a steady hand and soul when cold working arrowheads, daggers and other glass creations.
When he isnt making sharp objects, Moonboot is working up about any other type glass style you can imagine… dichro, millis, retti, linework, UV, highly function rigs, pendants, pipes, sculptures, glass chains, honeycomb, on the lathe or not….One of the most diverse artist you will meet while killing each style he tries. Nate has worked with and trained under some of the biggest names in the business….cough… Eusheen …cough…
“I get a lot of my inspiration from nature and other artist in the industry. There are so many people extending the limits on what can be done with Boro. It keeps me excited about learning new things and pushing my work forward.” – Moonboot
